lilybartUgh, Doctor Who is SO mainstream. I hate how it basically continuously reinforces all that is icky. Seriously. Slavery and racial politics are NOT that simple. And I have a whole big rant about imperialism and empire but I have to go to bed because I have class tomorrow. BUT, essentially, there is something seriously fucked up about how everyone is British in every time and every place.
Rose is, without question, my favorite companion. And... um, ROOOOOOOSE. I need Rose back. The show just hasn't given Martha and Donna the same kind of care in terms of development and, as a result, I'm just not nearly as emotionally invested in them. But Rose? I'm still not over Rose being gone. And if I get Rose back for even just a second, I will take it.
